This pioneering nature documentary follows American couple Martin and Osa Johnson as they cover thousands of miles of Africa, often traveling and filming the continent by airplane. While much of the footage of animal herds and bird flocks was shot from an aerial perspective, the movie also features encounters with wild creatures on the ground, including rhinos, lions, leopards and, of course, baboons, providing an invaluable look at Africa during the early part of the 20th century.
