Synopsis
Dr. Ed Betters (Joe Penny) is battling a serious malpractice charge. A patient is accusing him of performing a hysterectomy that wasn't necessary. Not only is the doctor's reputation on the line, but so are his finances: The woman is asking for millions of dollars in damages. To make matters worse, his doctor wife, Ginnie (Kathleen Quinlan), is divorcing him. Not incidentally, she's his partner in the medical practice -- and she wants control of it as part of their divorce settlement.
