At least a soap opera has the luxury of spreading its quota of sensationalism over many years. Concertinaed into a time span of mere days and distributed among only three households, the litany of suffering in Broken can appear hysterical. I was truly moved by Sean Bean and the rest of the cast and their lives in a impoverished parish. It reflects that love and kindness is truly what it means to be a Christian-not judgement and lies.
