Steve D This one is a mess and I normally enjoy their work. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 06/24/23 Full Review Audience Member Fun Abbott and Costello flick with a memorable cameo from everyone's favorite wicked witch, Margaret Hamilton. Set in the backwoods of Kentucky, as Costello tries to prove he's a real McCoy - and find the family's long-lost tresure. Also featuring latter-day Frankenstein Glenn Strange as as enemy 'Winfield.' Rated 3 out of 5 stars 01/31/23 Full Review Audience Member a surprisingly weak entry from Abbott and Costello, though the film has its moments. This film is the only great disappointment in their career. Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 02/08/23 Full Review Audience Member Pretty average film of theirs. I could've done without all the singing. It seems like every comedy team of the era needed this type of filler. Some of the jokes here were classic though. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Below-par for Abbott & Costello; Dorothy Shay sings some songs and, in a change of pace, Margaret Hamilton plays a witch. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member There are probably a dozen or so A&C movies that I like better, but this one isn't bad. I love it when Winfield calls him "Wiiiilbert".
