Audience Member A real mixed bag that ultimately falls short due to haphazard writing and poor acting. Neither is a constant; there are a few good moments of ghostly fright and a few scenes with good-enough acting. Still, Ryan Ramos is terrifyingly terrible every time he appears, and that's a lot. We never really get an explanation of why the events we're seeing are happening, making the climax entirely unsatisfying. Why did the villain have supernatural powers? Why were there ghosts present, other than those of his victim, that cared whether or not he had them? Why is it that the "secret" ghosts who has worked on the show for several years and knew from the start what was going on didn't warn anyone? And, really, an "the good guys won, so we're rewinding events and everyone is alive again" device? Hackneyed! Still, there are a few good moments early on in this low-budget first-effort that it's not a total loss. Much of the badness that comes later is such earnest floppage that it's fun to mock, so if you're going to watch this, don't watch it alone! Particularly fun are the cringe-worthy lines delivered by medium Madame Camille and her assistant, especially late in the film as Camille comes to recognize her "gift" (which certainly wasn't the script!) A drinking game could easily be devised. Otherwise, there's not a thing here to make this flick a must-see.
