In Modern Day New York, we find Sam Ares, who lives as a carefree soul enjoying chess, fighting, and women. His odd dreams of faraway places, people, and events he does not recognize hint at a higher purpose. In his dream he encounters the same woman several times, whom he can't forget even though he doesn't know who she is or what the connection is. Sam journeys to the places where he thinks his dreams and visions point him to, trying to find out his purpose and connect the puzzle pieces. A woman, Kristina draws Sam's face from her mind's eye as she feels his torment. She doesn't understand who this person is in her drawings. They constantly find themselves in the same places, but never run into each other as they look for a missing part of themselves outside of their dreams. Will they ever find out that the whole is greater than the parts? Will Sam find out who he is and what his purpose is?
