Ben Sachs Chicago Reader Director Wes Ball fails to generate any emotional resonance with this premise, though some of the action sequences are exciting. Mar 10, 2020 Full Review Udita Jhunjhunwala Livemint The intrigue of the first part, the fascinating design of the maze and the interplay between the characters trapped in the Glade have been eroded over the subsequent parts to end in a most unsatisfactory way. Jul 29, 2019 Full Review Mark Kermode Kermode & Mayo's Film Review It's efficiently done and there moments in it that are arresting... [but] have we now done with this particular cycle of films? Because I think we all have. Aug 28, 2018 Full Review Brian Eggert Deep Focus Review Both formally and narratively, The Death Cure feels like a patchwork, Frankensteined together from better material. Rated: 2/4 Mar 16, 2022 Full Review Drew Dietsch FANDOM A bombastic blast that sends the series off on a high note. Dec 29, 2021 Full Review Richard Crouse Richard Crouse Features lots of ominous music, attractive stars in motion, dusty dystopian landscapes and something gets blown up or shot at every 10 minutes or so. What's missing is the emotional content that might make you care about it. Rated: 1/5 Feb 28, 2021 Full Review Read all reviews

Ralph R With the main characters already introduced in the first two movies, The Death Cure skips over character reintroductions and dives straight into the action from the very first scene. While this fast-paced start keeps the energy high, it feels like a missed opportunity for the director to focus more on story growth and deepening character attachments in the opening act. That said, character buildup throughout the movie is an improvement over The Scorch Trials. There are several emotional scenes that add weight to the story and allow viewers to connect with the characters on a deeper level. The production quality remains on par with the previous films, featuring impressive cinematography and solid visuals that capture the scale and intensity of the narrative. The film is packed with action sequences, which deliver plenty of excitement but ultimately lack depth. While the stakes are clear, the story misses an opportunity to create a more engaging conflict that keeps viewers on edge and conflicted about the central themes, such as the cure and its implications. The finale, while emotional, feels somewhat underwhelming. It hints at resolution but lacks the sense of closure expected from the conclusion of a trilogy. Despite its strong visuals and emotional moments, the film falls short of fully delivering on the promise of its story. The Death Cure delivers thrilling action and improved character moments but struggles to provide the narrative depth and satisfying closure that could have elevated the trilogy's conclusion. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/17/24 Full Review Matthew K Not sure why there were such poor reviews for this movie, as this film ends the trilogy with a bang. Great character dialogue is included and a ton of action. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/18/24 Full Review cinema f “Every Maze Has An End.” I’m glad Gally is back. Very sad over Newt and Teresa’s deaths. The ending of the movie trilogy we were obsessed with, which is sad but needed. 5/5 stars. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/25/24 Full Review Audience Member This is the worst movie I have ever watched, Ive never wrote a review before but the pure stupidity of this movie has annoyed me so much im writing one. The main character Thomas is the most irritable selfish main character I have ever see. He kills thousands of people and throws away any chance civilization has to carry on existing to save one useless friend, hes the only cure the world has and had done nothing with it. He decided to destroy an entire healthy civilazation which was advanced sky scrapers to live in a campsite???? He is a villian not a hero. And terasa the only doctor left in the movie decided to sacrifice herself for what? to leave them with nothing? no one else knows how to turn his blood into the cure only her so now what? everyone is going to die. And the raiders what did they do they mad that the people are living virus free while their not so instead of waiting for the cure they decide to destroy everything meaning they ruined any chances of them living like the others. I hate this movie i wish it never existed Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/11/24 Full Review Geo3 F I don't understand why this film got a rotten review maybe its because it doesn't follow the book to the core or because people never read the book itself so were kind of lost about the story. Whichever I think this film is a great end to a good movie trilogy even if it doesn't follow the books plot. It has action and has sad moments that would make a book reader as myself touch by it. It's not aiming to be greatest cinematic film out there but its trying to bring to life the Maze Runner book series and most importantly its characters. In so doing I think they did a great job, the only hope I have is that they make the book prequels films themselves. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 11/11/24 Full Review Neeraj K irritated by seeing the movie Rated 1.5 out of 5 stars 09/14/24 Full Review Read all reviews
