David Bax Battleship Pretension Mercy reaches another level when it doubles back, showing us the same events from the point of view of the other characters, allowing Sparling to answer some of the questions that are dangling while inserting more Jan 6, 2021 Full Review Joey Keogh Wicked Horror For the most part, Mercy is a tense, often very frightening little home invasion chiller that makes great use of a terrific cast, isolated setting and some neat twists on the sub-genre. Audience Member Mercy is neither interesting nor entertaining, the whole story plot runs in circles as if they're playing 'Tag' or 'Ring Around The Rosie'. I couldn't help but be bored from the opening scene. First of all lighting was a problem, story line was off and lastly random strings are pulled to get this film together. Could have done with a lot more work. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/14/25 Full Review Josh S Have you ever sat through a movie wondering what the heck is going on? Well this one is for you. I watched the first 20-30 minutes then just fast forwarded the rest. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/08/25 Full Review Luis M. D I don't know why this decent thriller remains mostly unnoticed. The first half hour is certainly slow, at times even tedious, but later on things warm up a bit. Then, as we go into the second half, a new perspective of the events begins to emerge. But it's in the surprising finale when events take a new and totally unexpected (although implausible) turn, changing everything we knew about the story. I would not say this is a great movie but I can say it's a respectable and accomplished one. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/24 Full Review Kira D It was horrible. I would rather watch paint dry. Trust me and save your time Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 12/30/23 Full Review Rodney W It's very depressing how many idiots who didn't understand this movie felt the need to write a review telling the world what's wrong with the film when it's really the reviewer who has no idea what they are talking about. It's like asking DT to perform surgery. A fricking disaster that RT should fix. If a review obviously is nothing but horse manure, delete it or move it to a spam folder. The actors and crew really don't deserve this hornet's nest of bad, misinformed opinions. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie has absolutely 0 plot. i have no idea where these grown men are coming from. where are there cars and why is there 8 of them at the end of the movie where did they come from.
