Chet P Basic plot. Great cast of characters but no one really given anything to do but get from point A to point B. An okay movie but could've been better. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 03/12/24 Full Review Carol N "Arthur the King" (not to be confused with the old movie "King Arthur") had adventure, beautiful scenery, good actors, and a heartfelt story whose ending could have gone either way. The audience was laughing, crying, and gasping at different points in the movie, which is a good sign that they were immersed in the story. I like that they included pictures of the racer and his family who the movie was based on, at the end, along with a follow-up. I hope the movie does well. Let Hollywood know that it's nice to have a non-superhero movie for a change. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/08/24 Full Review Audience Member This is in fact a fascinating film about King Arthur, with many beautiful scenes. The original length was 2:36 according to Maltin's book. I know nothing about a 2:30 time as this page says. And it has never been on DVD, so what is this page talking about? There was a shortened VHS titled Merlin and the Sword, at 1:34.
