Audience Member A great and heartwarming movie. Filled with comedy and good acting for the most part, I really enjoyed watching this. Directing: 4.7 Acting: 4.2 Cinematography: 4.5 Entertainment value: 5 Genre (drama): 4.8 Effects: 4 Continuity: 4.8 Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/27/23 Full Review Audience Member This movie was so cute and funny. I really liked how this movie went because it wasn't anything like the typical type of Korean movie I've seen. Or those overly dramatic Korean dramas that I hated so much because it was always same. This movie had its romantic too and the girl wasn't that stupid. She knew what she was doing. I also thought the ending was so sweet and cute. Happy ending are my favorites. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/28/23 Full Review jesse o The first half of this movie was considerably better than the typical Korean romantic fare. Of course the second half had to fuck that up. I wish I could just one of these comedies that just stayed a comedy from beginning to end and didn't feel the need for the story to get unnecessarily serious. This comes in the form of the boxing subplot. As mentioned, this subplot just serves to get some pointless drama in the movie, despite the fact that it really wasn't needed. Basically the main character was an amateur boxing, I'm assuming because it was never mentioned, and he quit boxing because he beat up one guy so bad that he put him in a coma. Ever since then, he's been working odd jobs to give the guy's mother the money to take care of the hospital bills. He then decides to come back to boxing to pretty much punish himself for what he did by purposely taking a beating from another guy. And you've never seen such a dramatic boxing match. These people were crying their eyes out like he was being hanged, drawn, and quartered right before their very eyes. It was a terrible scene. The cast did seem to have fun, especially Jong Man's friends were the highlight of the film, and that definitely helps. But really, the first half of the movie being fine, not even good but fine enough, and the second half of the film being pretty bad makes this another disappointing romantic comedy from South Korea. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member i feel so guilty for liking this... it was cheese, in all honesty it could have been soo much worse... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/13/23 Full Review Audience Member A very typical, cheesy Asian rom-com. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 02/04/23 Full Review Audience Member it's a cute story...i love their chemistry..their funny together.. i nlove the scene when they were getting drunk and jong-man catches the falling star... i'll definitely wait for my akai ito...
