Quando lançado até eu curti o filme e fui acompanhando as sequências, pois o fio condutor do enredo é bom. Isso lá nos primórdios dos anos 2000, imagina nos dias de hoje. Mas revi o filme agora e me decepcionei com a qualidade da interpretação e do roteiro. Parece que não definiram bem como é o efeito que os seres causam nas pessoas, pois tanto na sinopse, quando no inicio do filme, as mortes são por suicídio, e depois se torna algo mais visual e sem nexo com o hospedeiro. Também o filme não se fixa na construção dos personagens, e todos ficam bem rasos, o que não dá interesse em torcer por nenhum. Mesmo assim, poderiam resgatar esses filmes e tentar fazer algo melhor hoje em dia.

3/10 Película de "terror" bastante mala, es la típica que ponían por la tarde cuando nadie ponía la tele un domingo en Antena 3. Cuando ha salido Ian Sommelader me he reído, no me ha sorprendido nada este tío en una película de tales características. La peli tiene un final muy cutre. Y las escenas de terror dan menos miedo que Agallas, el perro cobarde.

Overall, carrying an exciting new premise and a stunning soundtrack, Pulse certainly had the potential to be strong as a horror film, but sadly it slips and falls. Performances here are comparable to a TV soap drama, and most characters here lack any form of emotion. On-screen deaths are predictable and, again, lack excitement. The image quality is questionable as the entire feature has some kind of blue tint for the entire duration, making it a little ugly to even look at for an extended period. In the end, little enjoyment can be had here, but given the cast and concept, I wanted to see more from this film.

Pulse is an ugly mess that makes little to no sense. I am sure I thought it looked quite cool in the naive 00s, but it's hypercontrasted-desaturated-blue/green-hued look has aged like milk in the sun.
