Gentle Glen (Billy Boyd) is a ventriloquist's dummy, the offspring of evil doll Chucky (Brad Dourif) and his doll bride (Jennifer Tilly), both of whom are now deceased. When the orphaned Glen hears that a film is being made about his parents, he goes to Hollywood and resurrects them in an attempt to get to know them better. He is horrified when Chucky and his lover embark on a new killing spree, and Chucky is equally horrified that his son has no taste for evil.

This is such an insane direction for the franchise that basically kills it. "Seed of Chucky" is one of the worst horror films I've ever seen and the fact that the creator wrote and directed this is pretty depressing. They destroyed their own franchise!

En general las películas de terror resultan desagradables, inapropiadas y son un tipo de contenido que debería ser prohibido y eliminado en las películas y bastantes series de televisión, y las de Chucky tienen algo de sangre y resulta medio feo, y con algunas escenas inapropiadas que pueden resultar cochinas, recomiendo nunca ver ni una cosa ni la otra, vean cosas buenas y agradables porque para entretenimiento hay videojuegos, competiciones, deportes, ánime, y caricaturas, de lo bueno hay mucho para elegir así que eviten basuras, nada de Saw, Chucky, etc.

It took six years after the previous installment for this Chucky sequel to be made. The script was initially rejected for being “too gay” due to the non-binary child of Chucky, and only after a studio change in 2003 was Don Mancini, the franchise’s longtime writer, able to direct. The film adopts a meta approach, depicting the shooting of a movie about Chucky’s murders, with the killer dolls appearing in the “film within a film,” and Jennifer Tilly playing herself. The humor is heavy-handed, the storyline is convoluted, and only four murders occur, two of which are uninspired. Shot in Romania on a $12 million budget and using some CGI effects, the movie grossed just $24 million, making it the franchise’s biggest flop. Weak plot, misplaced humor, an unnecessary non-binary character, and minimal kills make it a disappointing and largely forgotten entry.

Chucky’s nonbinary Japanese kid is looking for his parents in Hollywood and finds them fighting their addiction while trying to take over the bodies of bride’s voice actor and Redman. The opening scene was good, but this plot was doing too much.
