sizwe n how this is not one of the greatest movies ever made amazes me, this movie predicted the future and we are now all living in it, simply amazing, i wish there were more movies like this, but unfortunately that art form has died. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 12/29/22 Full Review Shioka O The plot is kinda silly, but seeing now in 2022 this is funny because it's happening. Another Hollywood satire. I think this was ahead of time. A rare comedic leading role played by Al Pacino. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 12/22/22 Full Review Max S This Movie isn't great, but I still liked it. The idea of the story is really interesting and way the characters act towards to fake Simone is really funny. But the Movie was a few problems like the cliche Dialouge and the side plots stupid. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 03/21/22 Full Review robert p A nice experimental woman created by Al Pacino called Simone is an okay movie but not something I would write home about!!! Bill Stamets Chicago Reader Simone joins numerous other movies in satirizing the dream factory, but it dares not tell us suckers how we fit into the big picture. Rated: 3/4 Jun 23, 2022 Full Review Nell Minow Common Sense Media It goes on a little long, but isn't terrible. It might be time for petulant on-camera talent to realize that everyone can be replaced. Rated: 4/5 Oct 24, 2021 Full Review David Walsh World Socialist Web Site Simone has virtually no satiric edge. Given the present degraded state of the film industry, its subject matter, this is nearly a provocation.
