Trouble in Mind is a pleasure for the senses and the mind. Go to Full Review

Trouble in Mind finally locates a filmic universe for Rudolph’s artificial-world gifts. He’s never seemed so at home. Go to Full Review

Alan Rudolph wrote and directed it and is plainly a man who knows and loves movies. The trouble is he knows and loves too many of them. Go to Full Review

How seriously you take this conceit will determine your response to this poised, rather precious movie. It is unquestionably the work of a sophisticated imagination. Go to Full Review

Richard W Dec 19 This could very well be one of the worst movies ever made ,they say the movie (the room) is the worst movie ever made ,i beg to differ at least in that movie ,you would be unintentionally laughing ,not here ,there is actually quite a talented cast here ,and all must be incredibly embarassed, especially peter fonda ,what the director made him do was so unjustfied it makes me cringe to think about it ,this movie is akin ,to driving down the road and on the otherside of the highway is a fatal accident ,and you slow down to see if you can see a dead body ,dont do it ,its mangled ,i would be scared to ever try to watch another alan rudolph film ,if you dont believe me ,that this could be the worst movie ever made ,watch it! I dare you ,, thats right !i dare you , ,i double dare you !!! See more A.L.Jude P @judebd 10/11/2024 Somewhat surreal. Could have been much better. See more 05/16/2022 Boring, to be honest. See more KARL O @GalwayK 07/08/2021 I hadn't watched this in years. I was reminded what pretentious badly acted tripe it was tonight. See more steve d 07/13/2020 Well done but a bit too depressing for me. See more nefasto r @Nefasto 05/04/2019 Strange names, weird clothing, wrong auxiliary verbs all over the place: the most interesting question to ask ourselves at the end of the movie is we are in a dystopian future, or just normal plain eighties. Either way loved this strange new noir, and I don't even know exactly why. Maybe for some great quotes like this one: "I was the type of kid my mum told me not to play with". I am not sure it deserves four stars, but that is what I'll give! Loved the atmosphere. See more Read all reviews
