James Jeareld S This is a mild but really involved friendly ghost story where the grace of God triumphs over an ancient evil deity determined to destroy an entire family if not the world. And not all are Wraiths are benevolent forces of Hell. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 12/27/23 Full Review Vera A Should of known when critics couldn't even review this movie....What a crock of CRAP!!!! It's suppose to be a scary movie, it wasn't! Nothing more then poor acting, bratty kid, I'm reading a script parents. Don't even get me started on the sh#tty message they added into this BS movie! That's 99 minutes of my life I'll never get back! Avoid if you are looking for a horror movie! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 05/09/23 Full Review Audience Member The plot, rising action, climax, and falling action has the subtlety as an enemy smashing you in the face with a brick, when he/she was just trying to sneak past you unnoticed. Agree or disagree with abortion, the mother was told, informed, had the house blessed, and warned about 15 times, but could never put 2 and 2 together. A second grader could have figured out what the problem was. To say that she was oblivious is an understatement. The ghost even SAYS, "I WANT TO LIVE," Only one person stood out, the teenage daughter, sort of, or maybe the poor acting co-stars were just that bad and she looked good by comparison. Not scary. Completely predictable. Ghost/spirit was nice, not harmful. Not even sure why they listed the movie in the horror genre. I guess if you have a ghost, an advising priest, and a dumb family, then that automatically throws the audience into a certain genre. Once you see the husband get an item from the fridge, and think, "they wouldn't possibly add the, 'ghost will appear once he shuts the door,' bit," yet they do, then you will probably want to shut it off and chop it up as a loss. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/14/23 Full Review Audience Member So bad it is good. I was laughing 90% of the time. As a healthcare worker I cracked up when they used a bladder scanner for a fetal ultrasound. I genuinely enjoyed the movie because of how terrible it is. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 02/10/23 Full Review Audience Member This was simply a poor attempt to push an anti-woman agenda by masking it as a horror movie. Not only was it an incredibly boring "horror" movie, but halfway through I found out that it was anti-woman and stopped watching because of how hurtful it was to see us being harassed like that. So a man impregnated her. Why is she the only person suffering the consequences? I was sickened by the misogyny. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Not the worst horror film ever made. Lance Henriksen is always fun to watch.
