A bracing work of autofiction by creator and star Richard Gadd, Baby Reindeer can be a punishing watch but richly rewards viewers with its emotional complexity and excellent performances.

Rafael M A série prende, fica impossível não assistir o próximo episódio. Porem até agora não sei se gostei ou se foi um bom passa tempo. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review Nancy P Have never binge watched anything before but Wow was this compulsive viewing. So real, so raw, so turbulent. An astounding piece of writing, acting and directing. I absolutely adored each flawed character. A triumph for all of us irritating neurodiverse occasional TV watchers. Finally a drama that rings true. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review D L This was an intriguing look at trauma and its effects. Some scenes were very hard to watch (I’m thinking episode 4 here) and his comedy was horrible, it was so hard to sit through. It was also hard to sympathize with Donny at times because he keeps going back for more from Martha and seems to love the drama and attention. He isn’t exactly the most likable guy, kind of boring and weird. Not the most compelling main character out there. It was interesting how twisted up his sexuality was with things, but not really sure that should have been a part of this story because it didn’t really fit. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review Ava S Its dark subject matter and unconventional story may deter some, but it sheds light on intense trauma, challenges the idea of a "perfect victim," and encourages sympathy for the villain. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review Willian G Stupid series, a complete waste of time !!! Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 04/29/24 Full Review Audience Member Unlike anything else. Properly dark. The truth sears. Very watchable. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/28/24 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Craig Mathieson The Age (Australia) A horror story couched in the recesses of comedy, it’s a painful, compelling viewing experience. The line between wanting to know what happens and wanting to back away is thin and dangerously sharp; Gadd never settles for anything less. Rated: 4.5/5 Apr 25, 2024 Full Review Glen Weldon NPR In practice, the series repeatedly and clumsily conflates the horror of abuse with the simple fact of queer sexuality. Apr 25, 2024 Full Review Megan Nolan New Statesman In fact, as is made beautifully clear in Baby Reindeer, the truth is that human beings are not well-oiled machines who act with clean, comprehensible logic. Apr 23, 2024 Full Review Korey Coleman Double Toasted Baby Reindeer feels disturbingly real. Apr 28, 2024 Full Review Tom Beasley The Popcorn Muncher (Substack) This show exists entirely in moral greyness and ruthlessly puts the fragility and self-destructiveness of human beings under a white-hot spotlight. Apr 27, 2024 Full Review Ty'Kira Smalls Common Sense Media This series balances being deeply unsettling and being darkly humorous. Baby Reindeer is foreboding and fascinating.
