Dune: Prophecy offers a character-driven exploration into the lore of the Dune universe, with standout performances and impressive visuals. However, its pacing and deviation from the cinematic grandeur of the films may not appeal to all viewers. Fans interested in the political and mystical origins of the Bene Gesserit may find it rewarding, while others might find it lacking in momentum. Outstanding performance from Emily Watson and Olivia Williams.

I've watched all of the Dune movies, even the 1984 original. But Dune Prophecy is so much better than all of them. I understood the characters better and were much more likeable. Emily Watson and Travis Fimmel were wonderful as usual. I can't recommend this enough.

The sister is supposed to be highly trained of mind yet they are as emotional as school girls. I find it typical of more modern shows they take something good and ruin it. If you are looking for anything like the books or the 80s Dune it is not in this show.

Supuestamente es la adaptación de un libro y no se como será la cosa pero yo lo único que vi es un Game of Thrones en el espacio creado para seguir exprimiendo no solo ese formato sino la saga de películas del titulo. Ojo esto no quiere decir nada malo de la apuesta, el formato me gusta y me engancha. La historia esta bien, arranca lenta en los primeros capítulos pero una vez que toma ritmo es buenísima. En cuanto al universo que representa de por si lo sentí mas exagerado de lo que mostraron en pantalla grande, con pseudo magia y robots que, aunque estén presentes, no sean tan centrales en la saga de Paul Atreides e hizo que al principio me cueste aceptar lo que estaba viendo.
