Surpassingly good and comparable directing and writing quality to the recent dune movie remakes, the acting, sets, world, are all on par. It's only a little predictive and slow but it's still a must watch if you're interested in anything at all related to dune.

The Dune series has a cadence that many find too slow or plodding, but in my opinion, this show has done a great job adapting this prequel version of the Dune universe and manages to bring in many of the themes that were prevalent in Frank Herbert’s novels. Well worth it for fans of Dune or people who just enjoy cerebral, immersive sci fi experiences. If you need more action, then maybe this isn’t for you, and that’s okay. Personally, I’m thrilled to have a sci fi series that doesn’t feel like it’s catering directly to general audiences.
