Writer/producer David Litt began his television career working on the Nickelodeon animated series "Aaahh!!! Real Monsters." Leaving the show after five episodes, Litt worked on the FOX sitcom "Ned and Stacey" for the length of its two-year run. The show starred Thomas Hayden Church and Debra Messing, but is most notable for employing future screenwriter Charlie Kaufman-the creative mind behind such surreal comedies as "Being John Malkovich" and "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind." After leaving "Ned and Stacey," Litt would bring his off-kilter approach to the prosaic as the co-creater, producer, and sometimes writer of "The King of Queens," an appealing sitcom about an oafish delivery-truck driver living in the suburbs of New York with his acerbic wife and her oddball father. The popular CBS show would run for nine seasons and make stars out of then-unknown actors Kevin James and Leah Remini. Litt has also worked on the sitcoms "Listen Up!," starring Jason Alexander, the short-lived medical comedy "Out of Practice," and the hit comedy show "The Big Bang Theory," about a household of overachieving geeks.
