Eric Lange was an American film actor born on February 19, 1973 in Hamilton, Ohio. Lange graduated from Miami University and made his film debut in the Jon Lovitz-led parody "High School High" (1996). He made his television debut just two years later, in 1998, with a couple episodes of "The Bold and the Beautiful" (CBS, 1987- ). Lange appeared in an episode of the critically acclaimed yet short-lived sci-fi series "Firefly" (Fox, 2002), and kicked off his long career of episodic television appearances. Throughout the course of the decade, Lange appeared in numerous dramas and comedies, such as "The Bernie Mac Show" (Fox, 2001-06), "Burn Notice" (USA Network, 2007-2013), "My Name Is Earl" (NBC, 2005-09), and "Modern Family" (ABC, 2009- ). Lange then landed the recurring role of hippie art teacher Erwin Sikowitz on "Victorious" (Nickelodeon, 2010-13), one of his best-known roles. He continued to make episodic appearances throughout the 2010s on shows like "Castle" (ABC, 2009-2016), and had a recurring role on the well-regarded series "The Bridge" (FX, 2013-14), but found success towards the tail end of the decade. Lange joined the main cast of "Narcos" (Netflix, 2015- ) in its second season as Bill Stechner, and played Dr. Whitehurst in "Wind River" (2017), directed by actor, screenwriter, and, of course, director Taylor Sheridan. He then joined the cast of "Waco" (Paramount Network, 2018), a flagship miniseries of the rebranding of the Spike television network; the miniseries also starred Michael Shannon and Melissa Benoist.
