The world of cinema took a real shine to British-born actor Ken Campbell, who appeared in a number of films throughout his Hollywood career. Campbell's earliest roles were in film, including the Phil Daniels musical "Breaking Glass" (1980), the biopic "Joshua Then and Now" (1985) with James Woods and the Sting horror feature "The Bride" (1985). He also appeared in the Alexandra Pigg dramedy "A Letter to Brezhnev" (1986). He continued to act in productions like "A Fish Called Wanda" (1988), "A Zed and Two Noughts" (1988) and "Scandal" (1989). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Tempest" (1991) with Heathcote Williams. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Vincent Regan comedy "Hard Men" (1998), the Andy Jones comedy "Extraordinary Visitor" (1999) and the dramatic comedy "Saving Grace" (2000) with Brenda Blethyn. He also was featured in the TV movie "Alice in Wonderland" (NBC, 1998-99). Campbell last acted in "Creep" (2004) with Franka Potente. Campbell passed away in August 2008 at the age of 67.
