Madalina Diana Ghenea

A gorgeous global supermodel, Madalina Ghenea intrigued fans who saw only mysterious glimpses of her in ads, reality shows and gossip outlets. Born Aug. 8, 1988 in Slatina, Romania, Madalina Ghenea became a teenage model, eventually being kicked out of high school for a lingerie photo shoot she did for a magazine. Instead of a setback, however, this seemed to be an opportunity for Ghenea, who moved to Italy and quickly became an internationally acclaimed model who earned big-budget contracts with a variety of high-profile clients. Becoming a European tabloid sensation, she also made several reality TV appearances, including on the Italian version of "Dancing with the Stars" (ABC, 2005- ), "Ballando con le Stelle." Ghenea earned her greatest fame, however, when she was linked romantically to Leonardo DiCaprio and then to Gerard Butler, with whom she filmed a commercial, sparking American gossip industry in the exotic beauty.
