Edgar (Christopher Reeve) is a former military flyer, scarred by a training tragedy and now working as an airmail pilot. His route is through the rugged Northwest, from Nevada to Washington. It's difficult at the best of times, but when he's stuck with an obnoxious rich girl, Tillie (Rosanna Arquette), as a passenger, it becomes treacherous. After Edgar crashes, the pair must put their bickering to bed in order to survive in the wilderness, with wolves stalking them and civilization far away.

Nicholas Bell IONCINEMA.com Astoundingly dull, The Aviator should be revisited purely by enthusiasts of its two leads or those looking for a visual sleep aid. Audience Member Don't listen to these goonballs naysaying this movie. It actually is good. It's not the greatest movie I've ever seen in my life, but if you want a feel good movie then this is it. It screams 80's. And there is some 80's cheese. The soundtrack is good. The whole feel and look of this movie is very appealing. The beginning like the very VERY beginning will set you off because that setting will never be felt again. Christopher Reeves' acting is good and their chemistry on film is nice. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/27/23 Full Review Audience Member I'm so tired of wolves being portrayed in ways that are not at all real. Carter Neimeyer trapped the wolves that were reintroduced to Yellowstone. He has trapped and darted hundreds of wolves for study. He will tell you that he never brought a gun and never thought they would hurt him . " Wolves don't like to take on people". This makes me angry when they are so persecuted. Rated 1 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review deke p Christopher Reeve with bangs. Rosanna Arguette at her cutest. Watched part on TV 2017, 32 yrs late. Movie has not aged well. But story is kind of interesting. Survivors in mountains, vs wolves. Never heard of it until now. Rated 2 out of 5 stars 03/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Two good actors in a movie that is completely marred by its own incredible silliness, stupidity and incompetence. The person who directed this piece of shit is none other than George T. Miller, the same guy who directed FROZEN ASSETS and ZEUS & ROXANNE, both of which are in that dubious pantheon of the Worst Movies Ever Made. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/16/23 Full Review Audience Member why did i waste two hours of my life watching this HORRIBLE movie? christopher reeve & rosanna arquette had absolutely ZERO chemistry. she played a spoiled brat to the point where you wanted her character to die & he played a grumpy old man who wasn't much more sympathetic. this movie was pathetic. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member No, this has nothing to do with the Howard Hughes film, but more like The Grey with people surviving a plane crash being chased by wolves. I really liked Reeve, and an early role from Walking Dead's Scott Wilson, but as adorable as Arquette can be, they did everything to make her annoying. She's said to be playing a 17 year old girl, so maybe that is why her antics were so head shaking, but she looks too old to be playing that age range. It really takes you out of the story, as Reeve caring about this spoiled brat just seems forced. This film actually reminded me a lot of SIX DAYS, SEVEN NIGHTS as well. The flying footage and the stuff with the wolves was good, but the film just overall seemed very forced. Had they made Arquette her adorable self, the film probably would've been aces!
