Clyde Gilmour Maclean's Magazine This was the last movie June Haver made before entering a convent. Almost any of her earlier efforts might have been a worthier adieu to her public, although Dan Dailey and Dennis Day contribute a few lively moments. Dec 3, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

RICHARD S A rare non-costume piece for the lovely June Haver, featured here at her best, with Dan Daily competing for tapping talents. This film offers a wonderful example of June's musical and acting talents in her final film before retiring permanently (and too soon). I saw this as a kid, and never forgot it. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 10/07/24 Full Review Audience Member OK musical comedy like hollywood churned out in the fifties but not really my thang Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member Loved this cute musical! Fun to see Natalie Schaefer in a small role and Billy Gray, who later went on to co-star on Father Knows Best as Bud Jr, earlier in their careers. If you are not a fan of musicals, it may be too much for you. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/25/23 Full Review Audience Member Cute almost to the point of preciousness this is a lively, very colorful musical. Big musical with flashy numbers that tries to inject some drama into its story but then corrupts that by having them burst into song at the drop of a hat. This was June Haver's last film before briefly entering a convent and then leave there to marry Fred MacMurray and retire permanently from the screen. Strictly for musical fans.
