      Audience Member Probably my least favorite Oscar nominated short.. and it wins an Oscar. Flat and boring, yet tempted academy voters. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Audience Member This film won an Oscar, but no reviews yet on RT. It is just 30 minutes long, but quality. The story of Ireland summed up in the picaresque tale of best friends separated by the Troubles, and the woman in the middle. Funny, perceptive, thirty minutes well spent. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/14/23 Full Review Audience Member The plot is familiar and tired, and the dialogue is incredibly stilted, with supposedly emotional moments slapped clumsily across the viewers face. While not altogether terrible, the movie left a lot to be desired, and in this reviewers opinion was certainly not worthy of an Academy Award nomination.
