Having finally shaken off the rust while beginning to act its own age, And Just Like That… gets comfortable in its own skin in this much-improved third season.

Coleman Spilde Salon.com The show is designed to be so utterly awful that, when it’s great, it shakes us to our core, and encourages us to have all the more grace for those extended spells when the series is dreadful. Jul 15, 2025 Full Review Wenlei Ma The Nightly (AU) While this third season of And Just Like That is better than its two predecessors, it still begs the question of whether any of this is really connecting to the women who made being a Sex and the City fan part of their personality. Jun 20, 2025 Full Review J. Kelly Nestruck Globe and Mail [And Just Like That...] has finally settled into its own comfortable quirkiness now that it’s got that Kim Cattrall cameo out of the way. Jun 2, 2025 Full Review Kayleigh Donaldson Pajiba Honestly, I’m not entirely sure what has kept me hooked, but I know that I am. It’s not often that we get to see this kind of mess, so manicured and pricey, on this scale. The whole thing is a shambling zombie of the original. RD * this is unwatchable ridiculous uninteresting babble. was a huge fan of the first series but these last 3 seasons are just poor. a money grab and a waste of time. i love HBO Max but i won’t watch this anymore. hope it gets cancelled and they use all that money to make something decent. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 07/29/25 Full Review Efrem M For what SATC has turned into, this is my favorite season so far. It's slowly getting back to what SATC was all about, the relationships between the women. At least I hope that's what they're trying to do. The reboot started off really rocky and cringy. They were trying to address every social matter since it's been off the air. It was a mess. I'm not sure if it'll get renewed for season four. If it will get more life, it would make sense to explore those relationships more and get even deeper, so it's good and enjoyable once again (sans Samantha.) Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 07/28/25 Full Review Audience Member And Just Like That doesn’t come close to the original SATC’s originality or vision, but its decision to cut out characters in its already bloated cast and expand on Seema and Lisa has proven to be a smarter choice even if the show at times feels aimless. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/27/25 Full Review Sarah G Before I get to my real and very important thoughts about AJLT (yes, I believe it deserves its own abbreviation), I need to have a little vent. So, it's beauty night - best night of the week- I've got my face mask on, my nice cream and I'm gonna have a bit of a love/hate watch of AJLT. When OUT OF NOWHERE I am served on HBO max an ad for Wellington Paranormal! I had no idea it was coming and the images burned themselves into my eyeballs for eternity. I was so scared ladies and gentlemen that I longed for an Aidan to keep me warm at night with his charm and southern hospitality. That should tell you a lot because I find Aidan about as attractive has a houseplant. I was morphed out of my relaxed state and even Carrie needless shoe montage couldn't bump me back into it. This ad was messed.up. Im just a simple girl from Melbourne. I like my nice cream cold and my shows completely made of fairy floss and nostalgia. I have two and a half degrees that I don't use ladies and gents so I'm a smart cookie. I figured out the solution to this was to turn the volume down and simply look away when the scary ads came on. But ALAS my eyes doth betray me and sometimes sneaketh a little peaketh at the scary addeth! I don't take things like this lightly and I've got a half a mind to take this straight to the HQ of HBOMAX themselves. I did this for uber once when I had a complaint and they were all "how did you get in here, this place is only for employees" etc etc. In conclusion, AJLT is a truly unique and special, special show that I wish I could enjoy more, however HBO maxs betrayal of not knowing who I am as a viewer and as a woman has unfortunately broken my heart and I don't know if I have the strength to mend it in time for the next episode. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 07/25/25 Full Review Renee R I can't wait for Thursday to see a new episode!! THANK GOODNESS Carrie finally booted whiney Aiden to the curb! WHAT was she thinking to give him FIVE YEARS to deal with family?-He sleeps with X wife & has the gaul to be jealous of her time with ANYBODY, even a fellow writer! I'm thrilled she can start enjoying, living & not keep her life on hold! We never know how long we get to do this Ride, don't put off Life/Living for anyone! I LOVE this Series AND the entire Cast! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 07/25/25 Full Review Steven C So…. The charm of SATC stemmed from a tight knit group of young creatives who relished in their love for the hip and seductive nooks, crannies and seduction of NYC - it worked on every level and didn’t tried to be perfect and was a tight 30 minute run time which served to discipline the creatives. This disaster of a reboot feels like the creators went to club med but didn’t follow the diet - it feels less like a love letter to New York and more like a theme park ride through a fake New York on a Toronto back lot - It’s truly embarrassing in too many ways to list from the acting to the casting to the disastrous art direction, music, writing, guest stars, added cast and scripts that go too long and try too hard. How on earth has HBO not put this piece of utter garbage on life support Rated 1 out of 5 stars 07/24/25 Full Review Read all reviews
