Jack Warner
Jack Warner was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Warner's early acting career consisted of roles in various films, such as the Michael Redgrave drama "The Captive Heart" (1946), the drama "It Always Rains on Sunday" (1949) with Googie Withers and "A Christmas Carol" (1951) with Alastair Sim. He also appeared in "Forbidden Cargo" (1954) and "Albert R.N." (1955). His film career continued throughout the fifties and the seventies in productions like "The Square Ring" (1955), the Brian Donlevy horror flick "The Creeping Unknown" (1956) and the Alec Guinness comedy "The Ladykillers" (1956). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Carve Her Name With Pride" (1958) with Virginia McKenna and the documentary "Hollywood on Trial" (1976) with Walter Bernstein. Warner was most recently credited in the Clint Eastwood hit action film "In the Line of Fire" (1993). Warner continued to exercise his talent in the seventies and the eighties, taking on a mix of projects like "Dominique" with Cliff Robertson (1979), "Shadows From Light" with Bill Brandt (1983) and "Ballet Black" (1985). His credits also expanded to "American Lifestyles" (1987). Warner passed away in May 1981 at the age of 86.
