Tony Llewellyn-Jones
Tony Llewellyn-Jones was an actor most recognized for his memorable roles in dramatic films. Llewellyn-Jones began his acting career with roles in such films as "Illuminations" (1975), the dramatic adaptation "Picnic At Hanging Rock" (1975) with Rachel Roberts and "Inside Looking Out" (1977). He also appeared in "Kostas" (1979) and the comedy "Man of Flowers" (1983) with Norman Kaye. He kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in the fantastical drama "Wo die grunen Ameisen traumen" (1985) with Bruce Spence, the Isabelle Huppert drama "Cactus" (1986) and the Philip Quast drama "To Market, to Market" (1987). He also appeared in "A Woman's Tale" (1991) with Sheila Florance. He also appeared in the TV special "The Paper Boy" (PBS, 1987-88). In his more recent career, he continued to act in "Seeing Red" (1992), the Gosia Dobrowolska drama "The Nun and the Bandit" (1992) and the drama "Exile" (1994) with Aden Young. He also appeared in the comedy adaptation "Cosi" (1997) with Ben Mendelsohn and "The Last Wave" (2001). He held additional roles in television including a part on "General Practice" (PBS, 1998-99). Most recently, Llewellyn-Jones acted on "Chandon Pictures" (SundanceTV, 2007-09).
