Alain David

Alain David was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. David worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Des Enfants Gates" (1977) starring Christine Pascal, "La Question" (1976) and "Un Amour de pluie" with Romy Schneider (1974). He also contributed to "Une Partie de Plaisir" (1974). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the seventies, appearing in "Dora et la lanterne magique" (1977), the drama "Mort d'un pourri" (1977) with Alain Delon and "Violette et Francois" (1977). He also appeared in the drama "Judith Therpauve" (1978) with Simone Signoret. During the latter part of his career, he continued to act in the Catherine Deneuve drama "A nous deux" (1979), the Odile Michel comedy "Le Gagnant" (1979) and the Philippe Noiret dramatic comedy "Les Ripoux" (1985). David more recently wrote the comedic drama "La Contre-Allee" (1991) with Jennifer Covillault.
