Alexei Kortnev was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Kortnev found his beginnings in film with roles in the period drama "Prorva" (1992) with Ute Lemper and "Road to Paradise" (1994) with Ivan Volkov. Kortnev then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "Night Nurses" (2007), "Den Radio" (2008) with Rostislav Khait and the foreign "Lilacs" (2008) with Yevgeny Tsyganov. More recently, Kortnev acted in the Leonid Barats comedy adaptation "O chyom govoryat muzhchiny" (2010).
