Amos Lavie

Amos Lavie was a Hollywood actor who starred in a number of dramatic films. Lavie began his acting career with roles in such films as the Hanna Azulai drama "Banoth" (1985), "Goodbye New York" (1985) with Julie Hagerty and the Alona Kimchi drama "Himmo, Melech Yerushalayim" (1987). He also appeared in "War Zone" (1987) with Christopher Walken, the drama "Zamot" (1989) with Neta Sobol and "Torn Apart" (1990). In the nineties, Lavie devoted his time to various credits, such as "The Long Shadow" with Liv Ullmann (1992), "American Cyborg: Steel Warrior" (1994) starring Joe Lara and "Sh'hur" with Hana Azoulay-Hasfari (1995). He also worked on "Nasheem" (1996), "Sh'chur" (1996) and "Escape: Human Cargo" (Showtime, 1997-98). In his more recent career, he tackled roles in the comedic drama "Kirkas Palestina" (1998) with Yoram Hatav, the Yaël Abecassis dramatic adaptation "Alila" (2004) and the dramatic sports film "Munich" (2005) with Eric Bana. He also appeared in "Distortion" (2006), the dramatic adaptation "King Of Beggars" (2007) with Shahar Sorek and the foreign "Lemon Tree" (2009) with Hiam Abbass. Most recently, Lavie acted in the Efratia Gitai historical drama "Carmel" (2010).
