Bert Lytell's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Lytell appeared in such films as "Boston Blackie's Little Pal" (1918), "A Message From Mars" (1921) and "The Idle Rich" (1921). He also appeared in "Rupert of Hentzau" (1923). His passion for acting continued to his roles in projects like the Ronald Colman comedic adaptation "Lady Windermere's Fan" (1925), "Ship of Souls" (1926) and "The Lone Wolf's Daughter" (1929). He also appeared in "The Last of the Lone Wolf" (1930). Lytell had a number of different projects under his belt in the thirties through the forties, including "The Valiant" (NBC, 1938-39), "Philco Television Playhouse" (NBC, 1948-1956) and "One Man's Family" (NBC, 1949-1955). Lytell more recently worked on "The Orchid Award" (ABC, 1952-54). Lytell was married to Claire Windsor. Lytell passed away in September 1954 at the age of 69.
