A tall, extremely handsome, dark-haired actor-singer, Burke Moses has enjoyed success in the disparate worlds of daytime TV and the musical theater. His booming baritone voice has been put to terrific use in roles as varied as Sky Masterson in the Broadway revival of "Guys and Dolls" and as Lancelot in a tour of "Camelot." Although born in Manhattan, Moses was raised in the Midwest in suburbs of Chicago and St Louis. He attended several colleges (including Boston University and Carnegie-Mellon) before landing in his native NYC in the mid-80s. In 1986, he landed his first major soap role as the third actor to play Curtis Alden on ABC's "Loving." Moses joined "As the World Turns" (CBS) in 1989 as businessman Sean Baxter but when his stage prospects increased, he opted to leave the show.
