Delbert McClinton
Delbert McClinton worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Texas 150: A Celebration Special" (1985-86), "A Country Music Celebration" (CBS, 1992-93) and "Farm Aid VI" (The Nashville Network, 1992-93). McClinton worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Austin City Limits" (PBS, 1974-2015). McClinton also contributed music to the comedy adventure "Howard the Duck" (1986) with Lea Thompson and the Ally Sheedy drama "Heart of Dixie" (1989). In the nineties, McClinton devoted his time to various credits, such as "The 26th Annual Country Music Association Awards" (CBS, 1992-93), "The 28th Academy of Country Music Awards" (NBC, 1992-93) and "The Cutting Edge" with D.B. Sweeney (1992). He also worked on "Groundhog Day" (1993) starring Bill Murray and "Kleptomania" (1994). McClinton's music was most recently featured in the drama "An Unfinished Life" (2005) with Robert Redford. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "The Road" (The Nashville Network, 1994-96). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "The Best of Austin City Limits: Big Blues Extravaganza" (PBS, 1997-98) and "John Lennon's Jukebox" (PBS, 2004-05). McClinton also contributed music to "I Dreamed of Africa" (2000) and "The Dale Earnhardt Tribute Concert" (Fox, 2002-03).
