Derek Barton
Derek Barton was an actor who made a successful career for himself in film. Barton began his acting career appearing mainly in films, such as the comedy "Coach" (1978) with Cathy Lee Crosby and "I Wanna Hold Your Hand" (1978). He also appeared in the TV movie "Carpool" (CBS, 1983-84). In the eighties and the nineties, Barton devoted his time to various credits, such as "Command 5" (ABC, 1984-85), "Kill Me Again" (1989) and "Eve of Destruction" (1991) starring Gregory Hines. He also worked on "Pontiac Moon" (1994). In the nineties and the early 2000s, Barton lent his talents to projects like "Bless This House" (CBS, 1995-96), "The Tie That Binds" (1995) starring Daryl Hannah and "Leave It to Beaver" with Christopher McDonald (1997). His credits also expanded to "The Flight of the Phoenix" (2004) starring Dennis Quaid. Barton most recently worked on the Reiko Aylesworth sci-fi sequel "Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem" (2007).
