Dermott Downs
Dermott Downs worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Father On Trial" (NBC, 1972-73) and "Miss Kline, We Love You" (ABC, 1973-74). In the beginning of his Hollywood career, Downs acted in films like the Eddie Albert fantasy "Escape to Witch Mountain" (1975). He also starred in the TV movies "The Morning After" (ABC, 1973-74) and "The Loneliest Runner" (NBC, 1976-77). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "Flying Blind" (NBC, 1989-1990). He also worked in film during these years, including a part on the comedy "Secret Admirer" (1985) with C. Thomas Howell. He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Designing Women" (CBS, 1986-1993). In the nineties through the 2010s, Downs lent his talents to projects like "The Dana Carvey Show" (ABC, 1995-96), "CSI: New York" (CBS, 2004-2013) and "Chase" (NBC, 2010-11). His credits also expanded to "Legends Of Tomorrow" (CW, 2015-). Downs most recently directed "Supergirl" (CBS, 2015-).
