Duane Eddy
Duane Eddy brought his musical talents to a variety of films over the course of his Hollywood career. Eddy worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "A Thunder of Drums" (1961), "Because They're Young" (1960) and "Grease 2" (1982). He also contributed to "Ring of Fire" with David Janssen (1961), "Shifshuf Naim" (1981) starring Zachi Noy and "The Savage Seven" (1968) starring Robert Walker Jr. In the eighties and the nineties, Eddy devoted his time to various credits, such as "Streets of Fire" (1984) starring Michael Paré, "Hareemu Ohgen" with Yftach Katzur (1985) and "Buddy Holly and the Crickets -- A Tribute" (PBS, 1987-88). He also worked on "Late Night With David Letterman Sixth Anniversary Show" (NBC, 1987-88), the Tom Hanks and Rebecca Williams box office smash "Forrest Gump" (1994) and "Music in Movies '94" (ABC, 1994-95). Eddy's music was also featured in the action picture "Natural Born Killers" (1994) with Woody Harrelson, the David Arquette hit horror sequel "Scream 2" (1997) and the Madeline Carroll dramatic adaptation "Flipped" (2010). His music was also featured in the biographical drama "Selma" (2014) with David Oyelowo and in "The Wrecking Crew" (2015). In addition to his music, Eddy also appeared on-screen in "CMA 40th: A Celebration" (CBS, 1998-99). Duane Eddy died on April 30, 2024 at the age of 86.
