Edric Connor was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Connor found his beginnings in film with roles in the Sidney Poitier drama "Cry, the Beloved Country" (1952) and the Anthony Steel adventure "West of Zanzibar" (1955). Connor made film his next project, appearing in the dramatic adventure "Moby Dick" (1956) with Gregory Peck, "The Roots of Heaven" (1958) with Errol Flynn and "The Vikings" (1958) with Kirk Douglas. He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "Virgin Island" (1960) with John Cassavetes, "King of Kings" (1961) and the comedy "Four For Texas" (1963) with Frank Sinatra. Later in his career, Connor acted in the Richard Attenborough crime adaptation "Only When I Larf" (1968). Connor passed away in October 1968 at the age of 55.
