Émile Schneider-Vanier
Canadian actor Émile Schneider first found fame as the eponymous season one lead in "Fée Éric" (VRAK.TV, 2012-14) before gaining acclaim for his big-screen performances in "Embrasses-moi comme tu m'aimes" (2016) and "There Where Atilla Passes..." (2016). Born in Granby, Quebec in 1989, Schneider studied at the Ecole de theatre du Cegep de Saint-Hyacinthe and soon after was cast as the titular male fairy role in Canadian sitcom "Fée Éric" (VRAK.TV, 2012-14). Schneider left the show after its first season, going onto land multi-episode stints in medical series "Trauma" (Radio Canada, 2010-) and family drama "Mémoires vives" (ICI Radio-Canada Tele, 2013-) and a bit part in "The Lion's Path" (2015), Stephan Beaudoin's psychodrama about a creepy 1970s-style commune. Schneider then enjoyed more significant screen time as Cedric, one of two teenage brothers who kidnap a middle-aged loner in "Desperado" (2015). His film career continued to flourish with performances as Pierre Sauvageau, a young man who forms an incestuous relationship with his disabled twin sister during World War II, in "Embrasses-moi comme tu m'aimes" (2016), and Atilla, a reclusive Quebecer adopted as a young boy who attempts to discover his Turkish heritage, in "There Where Atilla Passes..." (2016).
