Eva Ionesco

Eva Ionesco was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Ionesco began her acting career with roles in such films as "Maladolescenza" (1977), the comedy "L' Amant de poche" (1978) with Mimsy Farmer and the drama "Hotel Meuble" (1981) with Anny Duperey. She also appeared in "La Nuit Porte Jarretelles" (1985), "Jeux d'artifices" (1987) with Myriam David and "L' Amoureuse" (1987) with Marianne Cuaul. Her film career continued throughout the nineties and the early 2000s in productions like the comedy "Monsieur" (1990) with Dominic Gould, "La Sevillane" (1993) and "L' Appartement" (1996). She also appeared in the Agnes Obadia comedy "Romaine" (1997) and the Philippe Suner foreign "A Man, A Real One" (2003). Film continued to be her passion as she played roles in "Eros Therapy" (2004) with Catherine Frot, the drama "It's Easier For a Camel" (2004) with Valeria Bruni-Tedeschi and the foreign "Quand Je Serai Star" (2005) with Arielle Dombasle. She also appeared in the Émilie Dequenne mystery thriller "Ecoute Le Temps" (2007) and the Christine Boisson dramatic adaptation "I Dreamt Under Water" (2008). Ionesco most recently directed "My Little Princess" (2011).
