Frantisek Vlacil
František Vlácil worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Vlácil received his start directing independent films, including early work on the drama "The White Dove" (1960) with Katerina Irmanovova and the drama "Adelheid" (1970) with Petr Cepek. Vlácil also appeared in "Marketa Lazarová" with Magdalena Vasaryova (1974), "Pasecek z Doliny" (1983) and "Amadeus" with F. Murray Abraham (1984). Later in his career, Vlácil acted in "Vesnicko ma Strediskova" (1987) with Janos Ban. Vlácil passed away in January 1999 at the age of 75.
