Born on February 25, 1995, in Los Angeles, Calif., Geffri Maya Hightower, better known as Geffri Maya, is an American actor, entertainer and model. Maya made her Broadway debut as Young Nala in "The Lion King." Maya was in "Jericho" (2006) and "Everybody Hates Chris" (2008). Her breakthrough role was Maya Bennett in ABC's "Private Practice" (2007-10). She also starred as Jasmine Hardaway in the 2015 film "Blaq Gold." In 2019, Geffri portrayed Zion in "Black-ish" and Zoe in "WTF, Baron Davis." Geffri Maya starred as Simone Hicks in the CW show, "All American" (2019-22), and then reprised her role in the spin-off, "All American: Homecoming" (2022-23).
