Herschel Mayall
Herschel Mayall was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Early on in his acting career, Mayall landed roles in various films, including the western "Custer's Last Fight" (1913) with J Barney Sherry, "Civilization" (1916) and "The Aryan" (1916). He also appeared in the Theda Bara historical film "Cleopatra" (1917). His film career continued throughout those years in productions like "The Rose of Blood" (1917), "Daredevil Jack" (1920) and "The Queen of Sheba" (1921). He also appeared in "Extra! Extra!" (1922). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "Wild Bill Hickok" (1923) with William S Hart, "Alimony" (1924) and "Fast and Loose" (1930). He also appeared in the comedy "His Woman" (1931) with Gary Cooper. Mayall more recently acted in "Big Town" (1932).
