Jason Roy-Léveillée
A handsome young actor and aspiring director, Jason Roy-Léveillée possessed a magnetic screen presence that helped bring weight to any project in which he appeared. Born Oct. 1, 1983, Jason Roy-Léveillée was bitten by the acting bug when he became involved with the world of improv and theater, and was only 13 when he made his screen debut on the long-running high school saga "Virginie" (Radio-Canada, 1996-2010). After appearing on the family series "Ramdam" (Télé-Québec, 2001-08), Roy-Léveillée came into his own in 2002 when he landed the star-making role of hockey star Guy Lambert, son of the legendary Pierre Lambert, on the iconic sports drama "Lance et compte" (Radio-Canada, 1986- ). Growing into a handsome, athletic young man both on and off the ice as the long-running series went on, Roy-Léveillée proved he had the chops to match as his character is forced to become the new team captain as well as deal with his survivor's guilt when he survives a horrific bus accident that kills half of the team. On the big screen, the actor played the handsome swim team captain in the likable teen-powered comedies "À vos marques, party!" ("Taking the Plunge") (2007) and its equally charming 2009 sequel, and showcased his dramatic talents in the dark "La Run" (2011), where he essayed a straight-A student who, to help his desperate-with-debt father, becomes a drug dealer. Besides acting, Roy-Léveillée was also interested in directing and lensed several shorts and music videos.
