Jeanne Wilhelm
A native of South Africa, Jeanne Wilhelm attended college at the University of Stellenbosch for two years, before spending her early 20s in various places throughout Europe and England. While living in these foreign countries Wilhelm experimented with different types of work, all the while trying to figure out what exactly it was she wanted to do with her life. By 2003, however, Wilhelm had finally realized her life's calling--to act. She returned to South Africa and immediately began pursuing a career as a professional actress. She landed the lead in her very first film, the 2006 South African drama "Faith Like Potatoes," and followed that up by appearing alongside William H. Macy and Meg Ryan in the 2008 comedy, "The Deal." Soon after, Wilhelm took a two-year hiatus from acting, only to return in 2010 as an air hostess in the family adventure film, "Free Willy: Escape from Pirate's Cove." In 2011 Wilhelm appeared in the South African fantasy action movie, "Spoon," and followed up that up by appearing in a short film about scientific healers, "Heart & Soul." 2011 was also the year that Wilhelm landed a minor role in the made-for-TV family movie "The Heart of Christmas."
