Born on January 19, 1973, in Brooklyn, New York, Mario Bosco is an an Italian American actor and producer. Bosco has panhypopituitarism, an exceptionally rare condition inhibiting growth. His condition allows him to portray characters much younger. Bosco's breakthrough came in the late 1980s with a role in the short student film "Mella's Shoes," leading to subsequent appearances in films like "The Hard Way" (1991), "54" (1998) and "Bullet." His bigger break came in March 2000, when a role was written specifically for him on "NYPD Blue." Beyond acting, Bosco is an accomplished author, with his memoir "From Hopeless to Hollywood" receiving acclaim in 2014. Its success led to an appearance on "Portraits of Faith," a documentary series highlighting individuals who have overcome adversity. Mario Bosco has also established himself as a stand-up comic.
