Mircea Diaconu

Mircea Diaconu was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Diaconu kickstarted his acting career in various films such as "Before Silence Came" (1978), "Secvente" (1983) and "Secretul armei secrete" (1988). He also appeared in the comedy "Reach For the Sky" (1991) with Izabela Moldovan. He kept working in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, starring in "Asphalt Tango" (1996), the Maia Morgenstern drama "Fata in fata" (1999) and the Stefan Iordache crime drama "Ticalosii" (2007). Recently, he tackled roles in "Caravana cinematografica" (2010), "Love Sick" (2010) and the comedy adaptation "Poker" (2010) with Valentin Teodosiu. Most recently, Diaconu acted in "The Prophet, the Gold and the Transylvanians" (2013).
