Neil Grayston
When it came to choosing roles, Neil Grayston often eschewed clichéd nice guy types, instead gravitating towards characters that audiences found hard to love. He launched his acting career in Canada with a series of guest stints on hit dramas such as the critically acclaimed "Edgemont" (CBC, 2000-05) and "Da Vinci's Inquest" (CBC, 1998-2005), on which he portrayed a psychopath. Grayston juggled his time between projects in Canada and in the U.S., receiving praise for his performance on comedies like "Wonderfalls" (Fox, 2004), where he portrayed a demanding gift shop boss, and "Godiva's" (Bravo/Citytv, 2005-06), where he played an asexual sous chef. Grayston's popularity soared after he scored a dual-role on the cult sci-fi series "Eureka" (Sci-Fi Channel, 2006-12), as the voice of an artificial intelligence as well as a brilliant yet socially inept scientist. His role on the show was not only a hit among science fiction fans, it also helped bring Grayston to Hollywood's attention as one of its most talented up-and-coming stars.
