Ralph Harris was an accomplished actor, noted for his comedic timing in his roles for television shows. Harris's career began with roles in "In Living Color" (Fox, 1989-1994) and "On Our Own" (ABC, 1994-95). He appeared in a number of television specials, including "Comedy From the Caribbean" (1991-92) and "HBO Comedy Half-Hour: Ralph Louis Harris" (HBO, 1995-96). He continued to work steadily in sitcoms throughout the nineties, appearing on "Nick Freno: Licensed Teacher" (Warner Bros. Television Network, 1995-98) and "Comedy Central Presents..." (Comedy Central, 1998-2011). Harris focused on film in more recent years, appearing in the Beyoncé hit dramatic adaptation "Dreamgirls" (2006) and the Steve Carell hit comedy sequel "Evan Almighty" (2007). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "Wanda Sykes Presents HERLARIOUS" (OWN, 2012-14).
