Robert Adams
Robert Adams was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Adams marked his early career with roles in "The Life and Assassination of the Kingfish" (NBC, 1976-77) and "Rascals and Robbers: The Secret Adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn" (CBS, 1981-82). He then acted in the comedy "The Toy" (1982) with Richard Pryor, "Uncle Tom's Cabin" (Showtime, 1986-87) and "In the Heat of the Night" (CBS, 1987-1994). He also appeared in the Sally Field dramatic adaptation "Steel Magnolias" (1989). Later in his career, Adams acted in the Kathleen Turner action flick "Undercover Blues" (1993).
