Robert Hunter
Robert Hunter was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Hunter began his acting career with roles in such films as "The Golden Horde" (1951) with Ann Blyth, the John Ireland drama "The 49th Man" (1953) and the adaptation "The Purple Mask" (1955) with Tony Curtis. He also appeared in the Mike Lane action movie "The Zebra Force" (1976). In the eighties and the nineties, Hunter devoted his time to various credits, such as "Dilemmas of Disarmament" (PBS, 1987-88), "1988 Summer Olympic Games" (NBC, 1988-89) and "John Denver's Christmas in Aspen" (CBS, 1988-89). He also worked on "The 1992 Miss America Pageant" (NBC, 1992-93). He also appeared in the Megan Murphy biopic "The Wright Brothers" (1997). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Dreamland" (PBS, 1999-2000). Hunter most recently appeared on "Jackpot!: The Real Story of Slot Machines" (2000-01).
